The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Speaking of which, my new/old rifle that I was working on and had an issue with? Sorted that motherfucker right out, Wat did. The old op rod spring was broken into several pieces and was replaced. There was something wrong in the mechanism after reassembly. The new spring was removed after field stripping and the spring cavity in the op rod was investigated. Has to be done by braille. Damned if 3-4 little pieces of broken spring didn't fall out upon whacking the rod on a solid surface. Further investigation with a cleaning rod and a shot of carb cleaner and some compressed air, and some length checking with the new spring, and the tube was apparently clear. It was a lot easier to reassemble, and the bolt works properly now because the spring is no longer binding the system because of being over-compressed.

:D

Away from home visiting the land of β€œuffdah” where there are many different and wonderful things, like tater tots. WTH are they?

Anywho I set off in the rain for a lake walk and happened upon these beautiful wild (?) flowers that my phone tells me are β€œSweet Williams”.

Omg....you know uffdah???? I know uffdah.... only the cool kids no the joy of using uffdah

Get it get it.... you GO!!

80Β° at 9:45 we're in for a hot one today.
I stupidly stacked some firewood earlier today before it got super hot, but I was soaked through.

Did some cleanup and pick up around the house and ran a couple of errands.

Now I’m poolside. It’s still hot as balls out, but time to enjoy!!

Stay hydrated everyone!

I can accept that.

1. The Dude is my religion
2. The Dude is my dear leader
3. The Dude is not a fan of drama and strife and any other nonsense, The Dude just wants to hit a J and chill.
4. The Dude provides me with all of the romantic and erotic fulfillment I could ever need. "Maude? That's my robe."
5. The Dude abides.
Love the dude!

But also Goodman as Walter in the big Lebowski!

I’m glad you’re able to troubleshoot that, wat.

I don’t know anything about M1 other than I own one and I’ve never fired it. I will be rectifying that Sunday or Monday. My friend who’s out from Pennsylvania took one look at that thing and said it’s never been fired.

Good luck getting that rifle back together and cycling a few rounds thru it!

Miss conduct just looked at it and thought it looked like phlox at first glance.

But at second glance, she concurs that it is sweet William.
