It is a big red flag to me when they start posting nudes with their face right way. Since they were just screen grabs of videos the reverse image searches didn't really work. I guess I was actually having to do "research" and not just using it as a line.

This post reminds me of something that was both heartbreaking and touching someone I used work with told me. This was seven years ago. A young woman I worked with wished me a happy Father’s Day, despite the fact that I have no children of my own. I did help with my sister’s kids after their father passed away, but they were all grown up when this exchange happened.

My coworker told me that in the short time I’d worked with her, I gave more of a damn about her than her own father did. It touched me and broke my heart at the same time. Despite having a, shall we say, not so great relationship with my own father, he at least took some interest in my life. How anyone can just not care about their child just hurts me.

Thank you for this sentiment, Amanda. I’m sure if my two cats could vocalize it, they’d wish me a happy Father’s Day, as well.
