Saw YoYo in El Paso of all places around ‘94. He had a famous concert pianist accompanying him that I’ve long forgotten. You’ll love it! In fact caught the tail end of Crouching Tiger last night he did the Cello solo’s in that movie.

My first perm ended up looking very similar to their style.
I was teased mercilessly by the kids at school. But I had banging curls for months and months!! That perm had staying power!

I know the teasing…

Endured it for years. All the other kids were feathering their hair, which I couldn’t do then. The only thing in style was a fro but that started to wain. By the time I got to HS, I basically just rolled out of bed, wet my hair and trucked on…low maintenance, which fit my style!

Ah, the joys of hair….
