Vanessa 2

Went for a drive yesterday into the sticks. We weren't far from the Qld border actually. We took a road which had a sign pointing to some caves. After a few km's it started to deteriorate into a track, so decided we'd seen caves before and turned around.

On the way back to the main road we'd turned off, decided it was time for a pit stop and something to eat. Felt as though we were the only people on earth and it was dead quiet. We were literally in the middle of nowhere......it was great. Well, it's great if nothing goes wrong I suppose.

Really like the sky in The B&W shot Richard. V you know I always like the recent photos of you and of course love to see you naked but that shot of you on the back of the Ute looking at your phone is just gorgeous - it just proves how you always look so good. 😍. Steve

The sky in the first picture is very dramatic

Road trip? Desolate for certain. Would be a great spot for a photoshoot....

Yesterday, I retrieved an old camera I've not used for many years....a Pentax K10. We used this back around 2007 - 2009 before moving on to other brands.

I found a battery, charged it up and ducked outside to try it out; one of those spur of the moment things...all Vanessa needed to do was strip off.

We only spent about 15 mins. This pic is one of a few which turned out to be worth keeping.

Great to see your equipment is still in perfect working order and still looking great
Good Morning All,
Back from our little jaunt to Parkes. This is where the largest radio telescope in the southern hemisphere is located. We've been intending to make the effort to travel there for quite some time.

This telescope is the one that is the subject of the movie "The Dish" (2002). It stars Sam Neil as well as other actors....Aussie and US. The movie is very Australian, I say that because the humour and general flavour of the film is easily understood by Aussies but could be a little puzzling to others. The film was made by the same crew who made "The Castle".....even more Aussie-centric! The Castle was made to finance The Dish. If you've not seen it, it's well worth a look.

The telescope was the primary receiver for the Apollo 11 moon landing and subsequent walk by Armstrong; the images came through Parkes. It was constructed in the early sixties and, as in the film, sits in the middle of a paddock about twenty km north of Parkes. Some of the pics we took will explain it in more depth.

It won't be for everyone but here's the link: https://public.sexpal.eu/vanessa65/cool/radio-telescope-par/?view=roll

There are a few other pics taken along the way.

Have taken note of archive requests and will attend to them directly. 👌
great pics and nice bit of information

The remainder of the the 'quick' shoot, to see if a particular old camera still had some merit after a long period of time, can be found here: https://public.sexpal.eu/vanessa65/mild/15-min-shoot/?view=roll

Still plenty of merit in the old camera. Having a fantastic subject to photograph must make your job somewhat easier.
I'm loving it. She's maturing like the finest of wines.
Am entranced by her breasts in that crop shot. Magical.
If only I could....😈😈😈
