If that relieves your pain for you, it's OK to do. It's important not to take too much at one time or too much over a 24 hr period.

Actually, no. I would have been better off to stay at home, but I didn't take it out on anyone.


I did run into M, whom I haven't seen in years. She's one of those people where there's chemistry. You know, when you look across the room and you see This Person, and they're seeing you, too. It happens once in a while, and it's animal, not intellectual. I'm single and she's married - was then and still is. I respect that, but This is still there, then and now. It was nice to visit.


If what I have planned works out, I'll probably never see her again.

I understand the "THIS" that you can't act on. Will it be sad for you to never see her again?

I'm not, but there are many on this site. I heard the long weekend mentioned. It made me wonder - and Google confirmed. We have some minor, local celebrations all throughout the summer that involve fireworks to one degree or another. Plus a couple national ones. I always feel bad for the pet owners and anyone who has difficulty with loud noises.
Pretty but I prefer them from a distance or on a screen w/ the sound off.

Our fireworks season will start about the middle of next month. My dog hates them!

4th of July is a big deal here. Lots of fireworks over the lake. We take the boat out to watch. It's a huge party on the lake!
