Well, the Spring yard cleanup is complete. Now I can get back to some serious shit, like shooting and reloading.

I found a barrel swap I can do. I have a .308 Norma sitting here that no one needs and a friend has a .280 barrel in his barrel of barrels. I'll have to chase down another action but I know where a few of those are lying around, just a matter of negotiating a price. I've got a .280 in the lock up, a 760 Remington, a mediocre rifle at best. But the cartridge is more than capable all the way up to Mooses.

I was thinking of reaming it out to 280 AI but the gain is marginal compared to the powder required. The only caliber that seems to benefit the most from the AI mod. is the 25-06 but I'm not going to go there..............for now. If at some later date the desire to modify it becomes overwhelming all it takes is a chamber reamer so no hurry.
