I’m “lucky” in a way in that I am a blood tech’s wet dream, my veins are easy to tap

I get catcalls and they clap when I walk in

I donate blood every other month. They always do a good job of finding my vein.

But the two times I’ve needed an IV? Jesus Christ! Last time they almost had to cancel my colonoscopy cuz they couldn’t get the IV in. No one in the office could find it. 3-4 nurses tried before they finally found it.

Not a huge fan of needles….

I've won at the meat raffle a few times over the years. For me, it's a donation to a local charity. For friends and family - it's free meat.
I missed the line for the carnivore gene.

I love to cook and like meat. Now my challenge is to cook for my vegetarian GF. I have learned to cook and enjoy vegetables.

I REALLY like the Cro-Mags. Old NYC hardcore. Gut level, hit hard and fast. Totally brought me back to my teenage years.

I’m not a crowd server but I am a mosher!! Got into the pit and hurt my elbow. Yup… I. That 56 yo dude who still thinks he’s 17. Harley from the Cro-Mags is still the man. As sincere as the day is long.

But it got me out into Boston: Sox game and a fun concert, met new people and made new contacts.

Back home this afternoon to my beautiful wife.
