I can't believe there's a straight man who finds beer to bitter, and little me, who enjoys it. He wouldn't last five minutes in England!

I don't know what English or American beers are like, but I love the ones we have in South Africa, for the most part we tend to drink lager, but there are plenty others available.

As an Aussie, I prefer most British beers to most American beers. But my preference for imported beers are Becks, Heineken and Kirin.

They're planning something! Beware!

The younger girl has a name but winds up getting called That Damned Kitten because she's always up to something. Yesterday, she was underfoot worse than ever. Tripped me. I don't want to step on her, but sometimes, a halfhearted kick is what's required to avoid a fall. Then she goes down the stairs and stops halfway to make sure I'm following like a good human.


She really is super company. Sleeps beside my ankles because the big girl usually gets my shoulder.

Thank you. She's a trip. Sometimes she hears me and sometimes she doesn't, and it's not deafness. More like stubbornness.


She has been Googling old boyfriends here lately. She finally found one who is still alive. Who knew???

Happy Sunday, and Happy Mother's Day for whom it applies, or doesn't but you still want some well wishes. Still on cup #1. Working on the house finances a bit, pruning costs as best as possible. There will be the usual laundry and stuff, and a grocery run, and packing the truck to head back to work tomorrow morning.


Just checked the weather and there's a sidebar ad for Trojan Extra Thins Value Pack. I wonder if it knows something that I don't know???

Drove past a cemetery the other day and watched a group of people wander through the graves carrying a coffin. 4hrs later I Drove back past the same cemetery saw the same group of people still wandering around carrying the coffin. I said to my wife " gee they've really lost the plot haven't they?"
