I took care of people in the er that started fires with gasoline.... the story always started the same way..."well we were having a bonfire and I couldn't get it going fast enough so i......."

Yep! They just liked roaring fires. I was in the kitchen when I heard the explosion and saw the flames shoot up.

People are so careless sometimes. It doesn’t take much to start a fire.

Not to mention starting other things on fire… nearby trees and brush and yes, themselves.

I hope they are doing well and learned from their mistakes.

We started a fire Friday night. It was really calm out and then as soon as we start the fire, the wind started gusting.

It can be really dangerous. Luckily, we just let the fire burn out and kept an eye on it.

This guy was a bit of a wild man. He settled down after he got married to his second wife.

Yes we get warnings. Your everything down or the lawn furniture away. Flying trampolines are common

Last time we had a three day outage i said that's enough. Wired and set up back up generator. Won't run AC but i can live without that.

We now have a whole house generator that comes on automaticly. We used to have a roll out we had to hook up and flip the transfer switch.

We also run lines to both neighbors.
