Chaos: Don't Stress, Undress

Sorry if I'm talking out of turn, but.. it just seemed that this thread was for the more... explicit pictures.. I mean.. that's why most people post in here?
I dunno. Maybe I'm wrong.

I think the intent is for people to get undressed but also to embrace the chaos. @Justadesperatewifeandmom isn't here so it's whatever the hive wants the thread to be now... but when she was here, she never had any problems with any type of pictures. She encouraged naked and following the Lit rules but I don't think she would have dislike having a non-nude on her thread either. I think she might've been around the day we just sent middle fingers to each other...

I personally like this thread because my understanding is that you can do anything on it. Post a random pic. Read a silly book out loud. Learn about Justa's Target theory. Get someone to post a dick helicopter. Start an emoji treasure hunt. To me, the best parts of this thread were the hijinks and the fun, the not having to follow strict rules (the don't stress part). In my little opinion, telling someone they can only post a certain way or on topic, is against the chaos spirit of this thread.

While themes are fun and a great way to breath life into the thread, they have always been just a suggestion, designed to encourage creativity and participation. I love that @Lmizzler took over the thread again and got so many people posting again here, but this thread is totally not like Variations at all, whether its naked or not.

But of course I do like naked and I like to mind the words to picture ratio.

I kinda miss when this thread was more chaos and no themes, personally. I appreciate that Variations is a popular thread and themes have breathed new life into this one, but…99.99% of the time, I’m a camera-avoiding ninja. I don’t always have the confidence or desire to take a new picture to fit a theme and my backlog of selfies I don’t hate enough to immediately delete are few. Moreover, even when the stars align and I work up the courage to take pics and don’t immediately hate them all, I tend to talk myself out of sharing them in a timely manner too.

Chaos used to feel like a place where whatever reveals or teases one wanted to share would be appreciated. Granted, I wasn’t around when @Justadesperatewifeandmom started this thread, I didn’t know her and have no insight into her intentions for the thread. Many of us either met here or became friends here. One common bond we have is we a desperately miss @Justadesperatewifeandmom .

She was a fantastic host and she always had a way to keep this thread humming. Other have tried to jumpstart it with varying degrees of success. This has been the most successful attempt (all hail @Lmizzler )

It's not about imitation or competition, it was always about fun. Wherever this goes or whatever this becomes, that shouldn't be forgotten. I am very appreciative anytime this thread gets revived because
1. I miss it
2. I'm an eternal optimist and I think it signals just justa's return.

The admiral Bogey summarized well what I would say. Many of us met in this thread over a year ago. Lots of fun and ridiculousness has been had year through that time. Many of my Lit memories involve this thread. Justa rocks and I am still holding out hope that she pops in one day and surprises us all.

I’m not here to take over some one else’s thread. I have zero doubts that Justa wouldn’t have at least considered having me or someone else keep this place going in her absence.

I am here to have fun. Laugh. Be ridiculous. Encourage. Thirst. Stare. Drool a little. Encourage again. And then laugh some more.

It’s not about the image itself for me. It’s the person behind it. Putting yourself out there in such a public fashion can be intimidating. We ALL have parts about us that we are self conscious about. Once this place stops being encouraging to everyone who posts here, I’ll be gone in a heartbeat.

Once upon a time, @MedicalMuse had to remind me what this place is for. It’s to be a blast but also build people up at the same time. Thirsty comments are welcome. Remember that everyone who posts is a human being behind that lens, so be kind and treat them with the dignity they deserve.

So grab a cup of your favorite drink with @Justadesperatewifeandmom , scroll through the pages of @OrdinaryPerson antics, laugh at something @hotcpu might say, stare into @LupineOne shower, be amazed at the silky smooth hair of @TANSTAAFL58 , keep your eyes open for the occasional @LadyLascivious1 spotting, be prepared for @Indie to ask to see your butt, and figure you’ll see some thirst from @Mr_bogey and @Bry1313 at some point.
