That I love the wonderfully incongruous nature of a spring walk in the woods with my puppers whilst the soundtrack is the roar of engines from the motor racing circuit a few miles* away


*miles are like kilometers, only longer for my medically minded continental European friends 😉
 
I'm thinking....shit is about to get REAL in that alley. :LOL: :LOL: :LOL:

Trust me when I say that four hours on the roof screwing and getting nailed ain't as much fun as it might sound.
 
Also, am I the only person who says "fuck a duck" when frustrated?

Nope, that one has been part of the repertoire for nigh on thirty years at this point. My friends in high school all said it as well.

In fact, when we used to play our weekly nickel poker game it became fashionable to fold by requesting that someone at the table "pass the duck."
 
How free she looks dancing by the light of the fire pit. Shedding the grime of a hard work week, her mind and body move as one in blissful joy of just being.
 
A few weeks ago, I noticed a nest under the front awning tucked in beside one of the supports. I didn't really know if it was occupied or not since I'm not out there enough to have seen a bird. Over the last few days while working in that area, I've seen one that seemed quite annoyed with me.

Looking out again now, I see two tiny beaks opened wide waiting for Mom to spit regurgitated bugs into them.

I'm thinking it's gonna be a bit crowded in there as they grow.
