I need a dog in my life. Going round Scotland, everyone seemed to have either a cocker spaniel, a border collie or a variation on the Labrador/golden retriever theme and they were all good boys/girls.

Even the spaniels, which are normally as mad as a box of frogs thrown into a clown party.

Morning all.

Almost had an unfortunate moment yesterday. Context, I have a week with my children, and whilst we are gamers, I have plans to go somewhere each day, until I take them home Saturday morning.

Out in the park yesterday kicking a football around, eldest almost pulls a groin muscle. Thankfully calpol and rest averted injury.

Exciting day here; my asparagus bed has given my the first few spears of the season so it’s fresh asparagus and scrambled eggs for brekkie… any takers?

Dogs are brilliant...

They're also amazingly good at getting female attention so if you're looking for a lady... get a dog. I'd have pulled hundreds of times if I was single... and not fat n ugly... but mainly single. Lol.

I love labs, we had one before I moved here. She'd eat anything I gave her, even wasabi! She drooled when she ate one but came back for the whole bag

She was always so happy to see me when I got home, she was the bestest girl
