Well, that practise is enough to save me from cutting myself (not that I had problems with that to begin with) - but not to avoid being left with stubble in the most difficult places.

There are points where no matter how many times I shave, there's still a bit of stubble. Where I've not even once manage to get a perfect result. (And I really wonder if anyone who claims we should only shave along the hairs has actually ever done any shaving whatsoever, that would leave stubble anywhere.)
 
I’m weighing in:

Waxing: definitely for a professional. It’s such a delicate area that waxing should be done by someone with experience

Shaving:
Not necessarily as prone to pain. Most people know how to shave. It’s super intimate and sensual. Slow and methodical. By the time my partner was done, at the time, I was ready to go.
