Louisiana becomes the 28th State to pass constitutional carry laws. The right to carry concealed weapons without a permit.
Lock up the classrooms and give the kids bullet proof vests. Yeah, the vests will be hot in Louisiana, but any deranged fool with a gun in his pants can worm his way into a school.

Kids need to sacrifice a little comfort and be willing to die in order to defend Amerikkka from tyranny.

I think Constitutional carry has its good points and bad. Means you don't have to get a permit to carry. Great! Also means with no permit, no training required. Ummm... Little nervous here. I read all the time about well meaning, law abiding citizens doing dumb things with guns. I think people should have to prove proficiency and responsibility to carry a gun in public.

Also while ConsCar means you can carry openly or concealed in your home state, it doesn't necessarily mean you are legal to do so ac ross state lines. I have had my CCW for years. Just renewed in despite Ohio passing ConsCar. There are many reasons for this. As a CCW holder, I am registered with State and Federal Law enforcement as such. If I am pulled over for something and have my pistol laying on the passenger seat, it will be no surprise to the officer. He knows I am licensed before as soon as he runs my tags. And because Ohio reciprocates with 37 states for CCW, I don't have issues with crossing state lines.

And I don't have to go through all the background checks when I purchase a new firearm or a receiver for my own build.

I still have to have a CCW here. Most of where I go is CC. That said, I am quite discrete. Nothing keeps away an unwanted stop by the poelease like driving the speed limit, and it really isn't all that painful. The truck gets better fuel mileage, too.

FYI For those that indulge in reloading Brownells is offering Hazmat free shipping for powder and primers for a limited time. Get what you need while the gettin's good.

And in 1944 and 1945 when it was recycled shell casings.

The email notifications all say that this month's orders all should arrive today.

That'll be better than the imagined Halcyon Daze of the GB . . . .

So the "armorer" got convicted. Really. When you have people who aren't good at firearms stuff and prima donnas playing with guns, it's a recipe for a bad time.

Sad thing is, not having a problem is easy if you follow a few simple rules.

She was most certainly part of an entire chain of events. Now we get to see what happens to Baldwin, then end of, and most culpable part, of that chain.

They'll let Baldwin go, because he will demonstrate that he can't get his fat finger around the trigger...

;)

... and because someone else has already been punished.

Celebrity Justice

We've seen that movie too many times now to not know the plot no matter who is playing the "hero" (or antihero role).

There's nothing new coming out of Hollywood; remake town.

I hope you're wrong but I suspect you're going to be right on this one. It'll cost him something but what as compared to the armorer?

And 22 to go . . . . You just know that Congurrz won't touch it.
The national media is hiding that information from the public as well. Much of the country is ignorant of the fact that a majority of states allow concealed carry without a permit.

That's because most of these pussies think firearms carriers will go all Duck Bill Hickok on them.

The armorer woman faces up to eighteen months for involuntary man slaughter. Baldwin will get even less.

South Carolina advances permitless open carry bill despite opposition

ByAnnabella Rosciglione

South Carolina lawmakers are inching closer to passing a bill that would allow anyone who legally owns a gun to carry it, even without a permit to do so.

The South Carolina House voted 86-33, mostly along party lines, to advance the bill. The Senate and House had previously passed permitless carry bills, but each chamber’s version was different. They came to an agreement on Tuesday.

“The dialogue we’ve been having with the Senate, the House, and the governor’s office is that they want this to immediately become law,” Republican Rep. Bobby Cox, the bill’s sponsor, said.

Under the agreed bill, guns would still be banned in places such as schools, courthouses, and the state Capitol building. It also increases penalties for people who carry guns illegally, such as felons.

She got fucked, IMO.

Here's an article on the .270 versus the .30-'06. For what it's worth.

I'm an aught six fan because you'll find one Hell of a lot more of it in old gummint surplus piles.
Explaining my preference for the 25-06. One pass through the resizing die and wallah. I have heavier machinery for larger game so the 25-06 is a highly versatile mid-sized cartridge good for varmints to deer.

Yoiks. Texas just don't give a shit anymore.

Did they ever?

This next video says that there are over 500 possible loadings for the .30-'06. It's hard not to like the round.
