I'm back to reloading for the WinMag. Trying to work up a load for the 178 gr. ELD Match.

Based on my reading, that, to me, seems a little light, but I'm having to extrapolate to the 300WM. Also, that was a bunch of years back, too. I used to shoot 168s in the M1A. IIRC, they made a 173 or so for the M1. I would have thunk that the WM would like something headed towards 190.

Edjumafy me, please.

178 is on the low end but this is a very high BC bullet with a G1 of .547. I should be able to be in the 2950 +/- muzzle velocity which keeps me out of the trans-sonic zone until far past 1400 yds.

I also have a box of 190 gr Sierra Match Kings that I'll be working up a load for.

Okay, so I didn't make up the 190 number. Now I'm curious as to the weight of the WM ammo I have a stash of. Needless to say, it's been awhile and the rifle is Out West.

180 gr. is pretty typical for factory loading's. 150 is on the low end and 210 on the high end. I had a couple of boxes of factory 150 that shot with poor results for my purposes.

I bought a Henry yesterday. But not just any ole Henry; A semi-auto in 9mm luger!

I thought Henry only made cowboy guns.

Based on Wat's reaction, I guess Deplorables are willing to giggle with whoever votes their way - racism and child sex fantasies included.

Speaks volumes. 🤔
