Sheffield has had a hammering today. Living up to the title as the UK's snowiest city. All buses cancelled, cars abandoned everywhere, crashes and worst of all - my Amazon delivery hasn't turned up! How will I cope?

Did all that happen because Sheffield is in South Yorkshire? Would the same happen in North Yorkshire?

Haha, I wasn't doing anything at all. I can dislocate my thumb at will. It happens often but this time it just wouldn't go back in. I even tried banging it on the kitchen worktop. In the end a nurse pulled my thumb out and kind of shook my hand and in it went.
