Yeahtrust and believe I know I won't have patients without the doc being there just don't expect me to make (doc) life easier at the expense of a patient ....especially if treated like mud on your shoe

I get felt up every time I go through tsa..... I don't have titanium---i think it is the chubby parts...hahahaha
what drives me crazy is the ARBITRARYNESS of the screening process. It is literally never the same thing twice. And TSA - the employer of last resort - gets angry with you if you are not clairvoyant enough to guess what today's routine is going to be. I am a trusted traveler, but sometimes I get groped, swabbed for nitrates, and my carryon tossed so they can say they are not profiling.
We all have our jobs to do. The best is if everyone works as a team. The physician is not always the team leader.

I had my carry on tossed only once. I was coming back from a family gathering. My had brother gifted me with a chess set. The board he made from wood; the pieces were all metal. I don't remember why I had them in my carry on.
I wish. She was running the dinvinci -spelled wrong- surgical robot before we parted ways. There were problems I did not think we would overcome. A few years later before she got married I got told that was not the case. But she is married and and has a new retired amazing life.That's the way it should be. Respect all around.

Yes men ass kissing managers are a pain..... almost as big a pain as the Molly coddling we do ...i.e. choosing a tool to make sure docs don't have to many clicks of the mouse.... here is a tool that will do your job if you click 3 extra buttons..but NOOOOOO...too many clicks (insert pout and a foot stomp) .last week I told a doc that unless a patient calls their insurance and changes pcp or they die or they go to see another provider and actually goes to the new one....they are still responsible.for the quality metrics for that patient and they are still attributed.... I believe the words "on the hook and out of luck" was used.....Oh, girl! You sound like me!I also had surgeons get mad at me for calling them to explain a procedure or surgery to a patient before witnessing a consent!
I was hauled into my manager's office one time because of it. The surgeon was in there frothing at the mouth. I just calmly asked my manager to help me understand the CA Nursing Act, explaining I was not a surgeon, and suggested she call the BON for clarification.
She hated me because I was such a smart ass. By this time, I was teaching at a university and only worked part time. IDGAF and she knew it.
