What’s your most controversial opinion?

I said what I said. And your post solidified all the reasons why.
Waste of time, energy and so much money that could be used for actual good.
Sure play sports for fun or to exercise.
Professional sports? Nah, an indicator that people are easily manipulated and distracted. A complete showcase of aggressive capitalism.
Makes me sad your daughters are doing homework on a plane. Sports parents are the absolute worst of sports.

Look, you're entitled to your opinion about sports, but insulting his parenting is going to far. The world would be a much better place if everyone had a parent who loves them and is supportive of their interests like @Mo_Bandy does for his daughters.

Don't call something pizza if it doesn't have red sauce and has fruit on it
You know tomatoes are fruits though, right?

Personally, I don't think sports are dumb.

Just the L.A. teams. They are dumb as fuck.
Still salty that San Diego has never won a professional sports championship, I see 🤣

So, all the Sockers championships don't count?

This is a huge blanket statement that completely discounts all the positive things that being involved in sports does give. It may not be for you or your kids and that is totally ok but “sports parents are the absolute worst of sports”, really?
Parents that are competitive through their kids suck ass but unfortunately competitiveness comes in multiple flavors.

Oh it's much worse than that. Our teams don't just lose, they fold up and leave town!:ROFLMAO:😭

Oh I know, I was still living in SD county when SD city voters chose not to pay for a new stadium for whiney bitch Spanos, and he took his ball and left for LA where the Chargers couldn't even fill a soccer stadium. I will never cheer for them again as long as Spanos owns it and keeps them in LA.
And as far as other teams packing up and leaving SD...dude...I've been trying to send the Clippers back to you for yeeears 🤣 Guess it's not happening now thst they have a shiny new arena being built right next to The Forum, Hollywood Park and SoFi Stadium, but still...they're not really needed in LA.

And you’re correct there… but that’s what I meant by sports parents. The ones who keep their kids in every sport out there, that scream at the refs, who do their kids homework because they didn’t make sure their kids learned enough to do it themselves.
And sometimes you can tell when someone is that person by how aggressive and nasty they are towards those that don’t appreciate sports. Much like the individual I blocked.
People who put their kids in sports cause their kids like it, or to encourage exercise or to get some socialization are one thing… and then there’s the others, and I stand by what I said about those.
And to be fair I’m allowed to not like sports or the way they make people act. Which is why I don’t like sports for what it’s worth

I'm with you here. Parents living (forcing, guilting) through their kid's sports need to step back and do a reality check. I'm not a big sports fan, I'm not fanatical about anything like that. True, I have participated in some sports, but I think it's an utter waste of time to live my life around it. I feel sorry for those that live their lives vicariously through professional sports figures. There's a big beautiful world out there to enjoy firsthand.

Not at all what she initially said. She stated sports are. I took that personally. And she can fuck right off. Too much of a crybaby so she has to block and bitch.

All politicians are corrupt and out for themselves and their beliefs. There is no separation of church and state anymore.
