Vans are easy. Just put down a mattress. A car is trickier, but I have managed it in a VW Golf, and my current car a Dodge challenger. But I miss bench front seats. so I must add a Buick to my car list
I’m pretty sure my wife would suspect something (and the kids would ask) if there was a mattress in there all of a sudden! I have tried it out laying the seats flat and throwing down some blankets and a sleeping bag, didn’t quite work. Maybe I need an air mattress I can plug in to inflate or deflate, if the need ever arises.

I am built more for comfort now.....sooo...gimme a nice soft bed and a glass of wine with that lovely Lady.
That does sound much better than the back of my van! Now I just have to find a woman who lives near me, is sexually attracted to me, is available when I am, and can also host….

Take a trip to the jersey shore.
I love fucking.
And I am not committed to anyone.
lol I would love to take advantage of the invite, believe me, but that would be a big road trip from Washington State!

*sigh* I fear for the future of our civilization some days, you know? I see younger generations completely lacking basic human politeness (got to blame the internet for that, when you’re anonymous you can act like an asshole long enough that it becomes acceptable), but then people will get all worked up over some stupid little thing that they completely misinterpreted in the first place. Students largely don’t care about their education, so even where education is encouraged and supported there’s going to be an awful lot of ignorant people joining the workforce whose total knowledge will relate only to what they have to know for their job and whatever they do for fun and absolutely nothing else.

I used to wish that I could live long enough to see the start of a future something like Star Trek showed, now I’m hoping I don’t live long enough to see the downfall of civilization.

Anyone else ever feel that way?

Always try and wonder where the layabouts pupils in my school will eventually end up. Then I'm reminded that those that don't try have their choices severely limited. Then I listen to "Dirty Jobs" by The Who from Quadrophenia. Then I can see the connection.

Once in awhile I do...am glad I grew up when I did! (NOT that I am grown up...or mature...but I AM old! )

Sorta?

But then I’m reminded that the first Babylonian or Sumerian (or maybe Greek) texts that they translated from like 5,000 years ago were parents complaining that their kids were lazy, lacked common respect and decency and that they wanted the latest luxury.

So if true, maybe things haven’t changed too much??

Maybe just the pace of change has changed.

But it is easy to get disgusted by the shit show of a world/society we live in, so yes, I do feel that way.

Good evening !!! How was everyone Wednesday ?
It was all right, decent day at work, but when j got home I had to clean up the used fridge we got the day before to replace our original garage fridge that broke down (with six of us we need two fridges). Then after recovering from that, made dinner and now I’m scrolling through here before heading to bed!
