Opinions vary.Abortion doesn't involve babies. That is just a fact. Abortions don't occur after birth.

Opinions vary.Incorrect. You repeating it makes you sound dumb. I like you. I hate when you do this to yourself

Loads I'm using for 300WM doing that at 1100 yds. Good muzzle brake keeps recoil down to. 308 level.22-250 at 500 yds is still moving just under 2000 fps with almost 400 ft lbs of energy. More than enough to keep zombies at arms length.
Facts change over time...or so you libs like to say when it benefits you.Opinions are irrelevant to medical facts.
I am amazed at all of you that have ranges 1000 yards or more long. There is no where around here to shoot that far. On my property I'd be hard pressed to get 200 yards of clear shooting range.Loads I'm using for 300WM doing that at 1100 yds. Good muzzle brake keeps recoil down to. 308 level.
Just slap a red dot with a 3x magnifier on it. Lasers are going the way of the dinosaur. My fun is two fold actually. I have lost the majority of my sight in my right eye so I am converting to shooting left eyed. Adding to that I am pondering buying a left handed bolt gun. I can fire my right handed bolt gun left handed and do quite well, but as you can imagine it is awkward to work the bolt. Semi-autos are another story though. I am pondering laser red dot sights for the semi-autos.
As far as zombies go...I am quite prepared as long as I can figure a way to get a clear sight picture, either shooting left eyed or laser sighting.

The medical fact, right now, is that abortions do not involve babies.Facts change over time...or so you libs like to say when it benefits you.
Didn't say I've shot out to those ranges, ballistics calculator says that. Doubt I'd hit anything at that range.I am amazed at all of you that have ranges 1000 yards or more long. You do know zombies are make-believe right? They're not a real threat you have to worry about. At 1100 yds a zombie is indistinguishable from a tree stump even under 50x magnification. I prefer to not waste ammo on tree stumps so I'll wait and see if the zombies get too close or move on to easier pickings. You know, like those guys with bows and arrows.

I obtained a pre-1970 Marlin Glenfield Model 60 .22 rifle in near-mint condition and have fired hundreds of rounds through it. It's the best all-around .22 rifle I've ever owned and I've owned a Ruger 10/22 which I regret having sold to a friend in need. The only thing I've done to the Marlin was install a Carbo trigger kit which reduced the pull to a nice crisp 3.25 lbs. The accuracy inherent in the rifle is legendary. They push the limit of low cost, but I agree with you on AR-22 and 10/22 accuracy. I own 2 of them and with even a decent Vortex 2-6, they will drill tight groups out to 200 yards pretty consistently.

That was the first rifle I owned! I can shoot left or right handed using either eye. You can train yourself fairly easily but it helps if one eye isn't "more" dominant than the other. Just like any other disability you learn to work around it.TH?
I am going to disparage your dumb ramblings and disingenuous sayings when I find the opportunity to. But, I am deeply concerned that you have lost your sight in your right eye. I hope that you have competent medical care dealing with your problem. I want you to be able to look at your wife and enjoy the beauty of her smiling back at you. That said, for this forum, yeah! Tell me about being a responsible gun owner, who envies others with 2020 vision? Tell me why a person with a disability should not be reasonable enough to decide that maybe it’s time to stop shooting shit? If you go to renew your license at the Tennessee DOT and it’s a concern to them (and it is) wouldn’t a responsible owner think the same? but of course not! And none of your dumbass gun jerks on this thread feel the need to point out either.
A couple of years ago a little north of Meeteetse Wyoming I shot a nice Pronghorn at a range of about 175 yards. I had crested a rise on the prairie and spotted him at about 350-400 yards. I took out my trusty white plastic trash bag, tied it to the branch of some nearby brush, and let the wind blow it around a bit. The antelope being as inquisitive as they are started walking in for a closer look. I let him come into a little less than 200 yards before smacking him with my 7mm Mag. A few years back a friend of mine shot one with a pistol that was feeding outside the fence of his horse corral. So miracles do happen during antelope season. Especially in this part of the country where there are tens of thousands of them.West of the Mississippi is where the pronghorn and bighorn play and you ain't getting any closer to them than 1/4 mile. Also, here is the southwest the desert offers serious shooting room. It's why the 2 mile competitions are held here and not in Kentucky or W. Virginia or even Kansas. (Mostly because in Kansas there's probably a farmhouse in the way. Or a clothesline or cornfield. East of the Mississippi will have a Congresscritter in the way almost everywhere you glass.)
That's it. Damn good .22 rifle. That was the first rifle I owned! Has a squirrel engraved at the grip, tube fed.
As long as you can get crystal clear on that front sight and everything else is centered and slightly out of focus you'll be dangerous.I do miss the days when my eyes were able to focus on front and rear sight and the target all at the same time though
I contemplated getting one a few years back but decided I wanted magazine fed. Bought that Marlin for $30 used from money made washing dishes at a local truckstopThat's it. Damn good .22 rifle.
Yeah, but at the time I didn't get what the instructor was trying to tell me by focusing on the front sight. As long as you can get crystal clear on that front sight and everything else is centered and slightly out of focus you'll be dangerous.![]()
My range goes out to 1300 yds. If I drive up the road a piece there's a range that goes out to 3000 yds.I am amazed at all of you that have ranges 1000 yards or more long. There is no where around here to shoot that far. On my property I'd be hard pressed to get 200 yards of clear shooting range.
