First of all capitalism isn't dying. What you are talking about as a post capitalist paradigm is basically 'communal capitalism.' There are vestiges of those organizations that are still around. Look up the history of Sun-Maid for example.

What you, and I, and damn near everyone I know are railing against is 'Hyper-Capitalism' aided and abetted by the governments, state and federal. The left are all for "taxing the rich" and that isn't going to cut shit with a sharp knife. All that does is tax the citizen because the large corporations that they are talking about merely pass the tax burden on to the customers of their goods and services.

The right call for tax reduction. While that does produce some relief on the cost of goods and services it doesn't address the root problem. The "Hyper-Capitalists" continue on unabated.

There are several major acts of congress that have to be revisited. "The Patriot Act", the "Dodd-Frank Act", and the various "Anti-Trust Acts" to name a few. And those are NOT going to be looked at by the current congressional members. They are ALL bought and paid for, democrat and republican, by the "Hyper-Capitalists."

Until the American public wakes up to the fact that virtually ALL of their elected officials are betraying them and kicks their asses out of office we will continue down the path towards Revolution/Civil War.

I saw a PRC poll a while back which said that 46% of the people in Arkansas believe in creationism, i.e. that human beings have only existed in their present form since "God created them 10,000 or so years ago", and that humans didn't evolve from ape like creatures either purely through secular nature's laws or via divine control of nature. In Mississippi, it's 53% who believe in creationism, 49% in Alabama and Tennessee, and 48% in West Virginia, so Arkansas' shockingly high 46% is not really close to being the worst in the country in this regard.

This belief of creationism being higher in the population seems to be closely related to a higher percentage of white evangelical Protestants, or a higher percentage of the most conservative Mormons like in Utah County, Utah (Provo area). Catholics tend to believe that God's divine hand guides evolution, as if nature is God's plaything, as do a lot of mainline Protestants. On the other hand, so many evangelicals seem to reject evolution altogether, even the Catholic "intelligent design" version of evolution.
