Hmmmmm....RJ----are you sure you're awake? Both my computer and my phone say it's 6:05 am here right now, which makes east coast time 7:05 am. You're running ahead of schedule today!@JBoy1952

I have to humor Her!Doobie Brothers - Jesus Is Just Alright
That’s for sure… especially since it has a run time of what, 45 minutes?Through Christmastime 1971, this song played almost constantly on the radio...
About double length...about 8 minutes. I had a karaoke DJ tell me once that if I really wanted to do it, it would cost me a spot in the rotation. LOLThat’s for sure… especially since it has a run time of what, 45 minutes?
(that is a joke… but it is too long..)
…it just hit me as I saw this again… who her? The super important her (your wife)? Or me who posted the song her?I have to humor Her!
Keep the peace![]()
I have to humor my wife by going to church, when I don't have a lot of faith in her god.…it just hit me as I saw this again… who her? The super important her (your wife)? Or me who posted the song her?
Both?![]()
George Harrison composition… but I admit, ever since I was a kid, I thought there was something wrong with my turntable, then later with my reel to reel tape recorder, then by the time I was 10 I realized it was the original recording that sounds f-ed up with the tempo… apparently John referred to the effect about “the flange” which let to the guitar effect called “a flanger“.The Beatles - Here Comes The Sun (2019 Mix)
Speaking of Here Comes the Sun, it isn't The Beatles version that I think of; rather, I like and prefer Richie Havens' cover of it. It was his biggest hit, cracking the top 20 back in 1971, but sadly he's been long forgotten except by diehards like myself. Whenever I hear The Beatles version, I always have to give this one a spin. The Beatles - Here Comes The Sun (2019 Mix)
