But yeah, fun movie. The fake-out ending is forgivable because the real Jason comes back in the next one anyway.

Agreed. Plus, the fact that Roy carries a picture of himself (from earlier in the movie) in his wallet is one of the funniest moments in horror movie history. Because, you know, it would be ridiculous to have just shown his driver’s license to remind us who he was.
