Do you own your body?

I'm just pointing out that what you are bringing up, has no relevance to the right to chose.
Sure it does. If a woman wants to terminate a late term pregnancy for any reason, she should be free to do so. I'm simply pointing out terminating a pregnancy when the fetus is viable outside the womb doesn't require killing it. Ergo, I'm arguing for expanding female choice to end pregnancy while avoiding the issue of killing the fetus. A win win situation for both sides.

Sure it does.
No it doesn't because the law outlaws abortion prior to a fetus reaching a state where it can survive outside the womb. Sorry but that is the law and the facts of biology. Maybe go to school and learn a bit, then come back and we can have more educated discussion.

Again, this reference to elective late term abortions.

Please name one incident in American medical history of an abortion in the 7th, 8th or 9th month that was not a medical emergency.

This is brought up all the time like some rabid fear. So when has it happened? Name an instance. I'm sure since this gets all the air time it does then you should be able to pick out dozens of them in a country of hundreds of millions of women.

Or admit to the fucking ultimate and blatant disrespect you have for women thinking they are going out electively aborting fetuses they have gestated for 7, 8 and 9 months.

I'm not arguing the existence or merits of any particular laws. The existence and enforcement of a law is irrelevant to the assessment about it's morality, ethical standard, consistency, etc.

Never made that claim or argument, you're just spitting into the wind.

Yu huh. Your ENTIRE premise is built around that assumption. That women in late stage pregnancy don't have to kill the fetus when they don't want to continue with the pregnancy.

So, name an instance of that scenario. Name an instance when a woman in late stage pregnancy sought and received an elective abortion in the 7th, 8th or 9th month.

Whether it happens frequently or never is irrelevant to my position. You need to go find someone else who actually argues that point.

Actually it is very relevant.

Do you even know WHY later stage abortions are performed? Hint: it's not because the fetus can be saved.

You are concerned about a scenario which has never been proven to exist. Not once. Ever.

No it's about the law. I have already given you an answer on the ethical/moral points. Of which those only will only exist (maybe) at a future point in time. Since you have already stated you're in agreement with the right of a person to control their own body. I'm done discussing this off topic subject with you. If you want to try further, perhaps start a thread on it. I might just pop over and engage.

No amount of huffing and puffing on your part is going to make me adopt and argue in favour of claims, assumptions and positions you want me to. Right now the only game here is how long it's going to take you to figure that out.

You already are.

You just don't want to admit it because it topples the house of cards you call a "logical" inquiry.

The situation you clutch your pearls over does NOT exist.

Challenge: find one case of elective abortion in the third trimester.

If you're so desperate to find such a case, look yourself. I'm not here to do your homework for you, and the answer one way or another doesn't concern me.

You're the one who assumed they happen. It's your homework doofus.

At the rate I get taxed I mostly feel like I'm leasing with a buyout option at the end......only by the time the end of the long lease is finished there's so many miles it's not worth the buyout 🤷‍♂️

At least have the courage to own your bullshit.
And what bullshit would that be? You've been going on about late term abortions for several posts now, despite me repeatedly pointing out I make zero claims or arguments on that issue.

Not my fault you can't read or understand.

That the situation you're putting in to play does not exist.

Irony.
