Old School Musicianship… Rock and Roll.. Jazz… Blues… Big Band even…

Bachman & Turner - Takin' Care Of Business (Live At The Roseland Ballroom NYC)

Check out the song "Don't get yourself in Trouble" from the 1976 album Live in Japan......some excellent guitar, I am not sure if it was Randy or Blair playing those parts.....but it was rockin'

Duke Ellington - Diminuendo and Crescendo in Blue

This is from the Duke's 1956 Newport performance and it really cooks! You can tell the crowd is really getting into it from the sounds they're making. From what I've read, people had gotten up, started dancing, and were standing on chairs. Not something you'd expect from a jazz crowd in 1956. It's obvious the music really inspired them. And yeah, it's another long one, almost 15 minutes, but they fly by, the music is that mesmerizing.

Let's have MORE, Neil Diamond!!!
