T'was something I read in a book decades ago. A picked nit, better left unpicked, perhaps. Pretty clear that clips are for hair and magazines are for reading.

Please explain stripper clips. Multiple pics are acceptable to ensure accuracy of discussion topic.

Those are the very special hair clips that strippers wear in their hair.

In the below picture, the one on the left is an en bloc clip for the US 30 caliber M1. The one on the right looks like a stripper clip for the Eastern bloc weapons, which is a stripper clip. Theirs tend to be curved.

I think that P. P. Mauser developed the clips for rapid reloads for his original small-ring military bolt rifles and retained them for the 98s.

Then again, Google may have other ideas, so . . . .

Actually, the issue isn't the drugs, it's the fact that he took them illicitly then lied about it.

If someone is willing to engage in illegal acts, then lie about it, that should be enough to deny them the ability to purchase a weapon which could be used in furtherance of those illegal acts or even an escalation of the unlawful behavior into more serious criminal offenses.

It's not "drugs" it's crime. The 4473 attempts to get to this point by asking if the person violates the law by engaging in a specific crime. Since the use of a weapon during the commission of a crime is a felony, such a ban would be appropriate even under Bruen's text, history, and tradition test.
I totally agree with Harpy on this one. We should investigate every gun purchaser to see if they lied about drug use on their 4473 form, and if so, then deny them the ability to purchase a weapon. And if Hunter gets locked up for lying on his form, that should set a precedent for incarceration. I mean, if someone is willing to engage in illegal acts, and then lie about it, they should suffer the same consequences as Hunter. That would be appropriate under Bruen's text, history, and tradition test

Ya know, just to be sure, we should drug test gun purchasers and owners, like they do with holders of Commercial Driver Licenses. Safety first.

Good call, Harp! You da man!!!

I swear, Deplorables lack any semblence of humility or self-awareness, and then they camp out on a porn board because their arrogance prevents them from getting laid.
Hey Sunshine...YOU CAMP OUT ON A PORN BOARD. What does that say about you.

That shit is wild, yo.

The whole dang truck looks like it hasn't seen a day without rust since the 1950s but the gun storage is brand-spanking new.

a man's gotta have his priorities, I reckon! :ROFLMAO:
You've never seen a rat rod.... that truck may have a Ford 400 horse coyote engine coupled to 5 speed crash box. Do about 12 seconds in the quarter.....

And they should be tested yearly....

Well golly geee wizz. I'm jus gonna run right down there and load up huh? Can never be too safe. Need a weapon in case somebody spills a little coffee on me, orrmaybe doesn't let me pass them on the road, or stands in the crosswalk too long. I am gonna be so darn happy :nana: :nana: :nana:

Don't settle!

Wat did and he's always fixing his truck!

:nana: :nana: :nana:

It's ok, wat prolly doesn't mind throwing bushel baskets of 20 dollar bills at his truck every weekend. Not having any money means you don't have to decide whether this ammo deal is better than that ammo deal. :devilish:

Right along with the Speech, Religion, and oh so many other tests that we can employ to keep the citizenry in their place.
Look, Lit's resident ambulance chaser said Hunter should be banned from possessing a gun. And he even cited some legal stuff.

Our hands are tied.
