I love that song, it’s a shame he didn’t get to perform it with his band. Those guys are really good (Omar Hakim? Dr John? Marcus Miller??) They are all legends! But I felt they did not do that song justice. But, See The Light is my favorite Healey tune.
Of course - I saw him perform it live with them. I meant at that appearance, instead of playing with a “house band”, even though they were all very good.
ah, got you. I misunderstood. Here is Jeff in 2006 with "Like A Hurricane" He was sick again, the meds affecting his body, but his playing was as great as ever.
Sam Cooke - Bring It On Home To Me… when I was playing in bands around Lake Tahoe, this was one of the songs that everyone seemed to play. Such a great tune!
It’s an amazing tune
I highly recommend using it for developing your guitar skills. There is a chord change everyone seemed to do in northern Nevada that is not in the original, but even without it, working out leads over that progression is a very good exercise. It would sound exceptionally good with a Fender Jaguar…

I doubt it - but I do agree, if one is not obsessed with their instrument, they will not be a master of it.
She is one of my favorites and a heartthrob too.When I saw Bonnie play this live, opening for Stevie Ray, she absolutely blew my little mind. That performance was so good. I have been a huge fan of hers ever since.
