Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble - Mary Had a Little Lamb

(yes, I have CDs with each of these Mary melodies on them) 🤣
Watched the first half of LONESTAR—SRV 1984-1989 on Amazon Prime.

It’s a great documentary and has a lot of interviews I’d never seen, views on the Montreax Jazz Festival in ‘82 that put Double Trouble on the the map, and recent interviews (from the 00’s) with Reese Wynans.

A must watch for an Stevie fans!

Raspberries - I Wanna Be With You

Even though this was a top 20 hit in 1972, most people (those listening to top 40 radio back then anyways) only remember "Go All the Way" when you mention the Raspberries. I always preferred this song myself. I especially like the drum roll intro; it's reminiscent of the opening of "The Locomotion" by Little Eva.

Commodores—Sail On. (The extended version of this is AWSOME. I don’t know if it was the original album version or not but this is the radio version we all know and love)
It's a great song. The Commodores were a hit machine back then. My favorite from that period is "Still", a really excellent ballad. This is the LP version, as the single was cut by a couple of minutes.

Stan Getz - Moonlight in Vermont

This is a personal favorite!
For anyone who cares Stan Getz was born in Philadelphia, the same city as I was born in!

If you haven't listed to Stan Getz, you should. Very mellow Jazz Sax.
You have good taste sir! Thanks, I forgot this artist and you're obviously a Modulator because I just wanted to say I was Wrong about you.!! 😁
