This is a good example of the "ontological uncertainty of whiteness". There are tons of distinct ethnicities even in the British Isles -- the Scots, the English, the Irish, the Welsh. They have their own homelands and traditions which they feel keenly to this day.

But there is no White homeland and there never has been. Whiteness was invented during colonialism to convince a bunch of distinct European ethnicities to work together on the colonial project. That's why its so hard to pin down what it means to be white. QueanKing was more correct than he realized when he equated white culture with the power to lynch. Once you make lynching illegal, what else is there to whiteness?

The antidote to the toxicity of white nationalism is to find your tribe. Reconnect with the cultural traditions of your real ethnic ancestors, rather than longing for an imaginary white nation-state that never existed.

The Romans learned as much from the Greeks as the Greeks did from the Romans. Western Europe was always a backwater compare to the prosperous and cultured east. That's why Constantine the Great moved the capital to Constantinople on the Black Sea, abandoning Rome to rot.
