Back in 84, I was taking a classical guitar class in college but had also met a local musician who played multiple instruments (like me but older and much better). At the time, he was working out how to play Alice’s Restaurant so inevitably, whenever we had a guitar around, he would play that song or “Wish You Were Here”. Being the young hungry musician, because of hearing him playing them, I learned them both.
