Elmore James recorded it in 1961, but didn’t release it until ’65. Sonny Boy Williamson released a version in 1961 and 1965 and G.L. Crockett had a 1965 hit with the same song under a different name.

Fine... where I am at, we just get rivers flowing down the street but luckily it isn't a problem for my house. And while it did rain pretty heavy, it didn't seem to me it was any worse than the flash flood rains we get a few times a year.
