Chaos: Don't Stress, Undress

I was actually probably joking, but I also have no doubt they do. And that is likely because things may be fine by lit standards, but not fine in the room, if you read the room. Like earlier for example, they were not uploading copywrite material to lit. They were uploading to imgur. Abby Winters could go complain to imgur, but lit allows links to all sorts of material. I think thread owners likely get called on to sort disputes, because they are the host. At a minimum before you engage, you want the host's approval. Manners generally dictate any issues with a gathering, one defaults to the host. It is just polite.
Thats very interesting and not at all how I've used other online forums. But then again, I always find my home is the chaos corner of whatever forum it is.

I know some have a rule to not hijack someone else's thread (specifically in technical forums) its just to keep convos on topic. But then with the general discussion and just for fun threads, the convo is free to meander anywhere as long as it doesnt break the overarching site rules.

Most if the forums i frequent lay the blame of derailing or hijacking on the poster that does it rather than the 'host'... But again, I've never viewed the thread starter as a "host" for anything. They were just the one that started the convo. The mods and admin are the host as they set and enforce site rules.

Don’t get me wrong. If I’m into a lady. I’ve no problem sending her flirty texts, pics throughout the day to her. I’ve got to have a connection with her, some feelings for her.
