nude beach

Actually I am pretty comfortable with myself and I have certainly done more things than I ever anticipated as a young lady. I tend to hang with my own age group so it would be a bit daunting to compete with the 20 year olds.
Thank you but i'm not a spring chicken either. :)

It's not a competition. If anybody's comparing you with those twenty year olds, that person is at the beach for the wrong reason. You're at the beach for the right reason--to enjoy yourself and feel the sun and the wind on you.

Nude beaches usually are a lot of fun. Great to feel the sun on your bare skin as well as swimming with nothing on as well. Just great feels, makes you feel sexy and hard to go back.
This is true. You only need to look at how people's body language indicates those feelings of exhilaration once they have cast all their clothes aside and feel the air or water on their bare skin. Despite the insistence by some nudists that it's not about sex, it defintely is an erotic experience too. However, it's usually not seen as good form to engage in overtly sexual behaviour on a public nudist beach. Nevertheless you will not often see people engaging openly in sexual behaviour, although sometimes you may catch them doing something surreptitiously. But if you go behind the beach into the dunes or woodland, you will almost certainly see sex acts being performed openly.

I agree that the proper concept of nudity is just everyone doing there own thing. I expect that I would be the one judging myself and while I am comfortable with my 64 year old body, I know I am not 20 either. To be fair, I have little experience with nudity and I would expect that as I gained more experience, I would get more comfortable and develop the proper attitude. It is more about inexperience and understanding my own issues than a knock on public nudity.

I am perfectly fine with a rooster with some mileage.
This has all of the old roosters crowing w glee!
I have no nude beach experience but am interested in it. I think maybe as an older guy, I’m a little more WTF why not just enjoy the Sun, the sensations and the freedom. Reading posts from the true Lit naturalists has impacted me positively that way.

A mom, dad and their young son go to a nude beach.
"Mommy, mommy why is that man's penis so much bigger than Daddy's?"
"The bigger the penis, the dumber the man." the mom explained.
"Mommy, mommy why is that lady's boobs so much bigger than yours?"
"The bigger the boobs the dumber the girl." the mom explained.
Later the mom was lying alone in the sun when her son came running up to her all out of breath.
"Mommy, mommy! Daddy is talking to the dumbest lady on the beach and the longer he talks to her the dumber he gets!"

It is awesome there in September. Especially week days.
Let me know the date. I will bring treats

Funny I'll be in South Beach early next week but looking on a map it looks like you can't walk from there to Haulover. But I have read all of Miami Beach allows topless now. Not sure if anyone goes topless in South Beach.

You're exactly right. It's like swimming in cool water... getting in is the hardest part, but once you're in, you feel comfortable. The more you are naked with other people, the more natural it will seem, and the more un-natural being clothed in that environment you'll be.

I don't know where you're located, but if there's a naturist club around you, it's worth checking out, even if it's just another thing to cross off your bucket list. And they'll be happy to give you moral support when you're checking out nudist places.

We live in AZ and I know there are some nudist resorts around. It is not high on my list but it is something to think about and maybe look into it.

I am a Social Nudist and I love it!

More men attend events, visit beaches and Naturist holiday resorts, making it appear that Naturism appeals more to men than women. However, this is not necessarily the case. Naturism may appeal to a similar number of women, but they are reluctant to embrace the lifestyle for their own reasons.

The women who try Naturism are often more passionate about it, and it appears that it changes their lives more deeply than their male counterparts. Many women also say that they were introduced to Naturism by a husband or boyfriend and were hesitant, but now they can’t imagine life without it and believe it to be good for them and the entire family.

The human body was not designed to be wrapped up in clothes, and clothes-free activities have numerous health benefits.

More and more people are realising the significant benefits nudity brings to mental, emotional and physical health, body image issues, and their ability to relax and escape the rigours of daily life. It’s widely accepted that it’s good for everyone to have the sun and fresh air on their skin – so why not get the maximum benefit?

When you shake off your clothes, you do more than peel away the layers of fabric. It often feels like you are removing your worries, stresses and particularly any hang-ups you have about your body. If you’ve yet to try it, there is no more incredible feeling of freedom than giving your whole body – and in fact your entire ‘being’ – a good airing.

“Social nudity” is on the increase in the UK as people are far less hung up these days about seeing or being seen naked by others – including friends and family. We’re all the same underneath. Why wear a swimming costume when all you are going to do is get it wet? Bare skin dries much quicker too. Being naked in the company of others helps people’s perception of what constitutes a healthy body – it’s okay to have wobbly bits and be different from most ‘celebrity’ bodies. It also helps us to keep an eye on potential problem areas such as skin conditions, lumps/bumps, obesity and other health problems and a recent scientific study has shown that people who are naked in a social setting have greater self-esteem than the rest of the population.

You might be reading and feel you just couldn’t, ever … but consider it for a moment. It could be a step towards doing something that could change your whole life. By honouring yourself enough to create a better relationship – with your naked body positively. To feel happier in your own skin, knowing that you can take your clothes off and no-one will judge you. To put an end to hiding away your naked form and pretending it is shameful – and instead committing to doing more to start looking after your body.

Naturism is normal. Ordinary people choose not to wear clothes when the weather and circumstances are appropriate. Our activities are no different from what most people do in their leisure time, other than the dress code. We’re not anti-clothes, we just know they are not always essential. It’s also a lot of fun!

Naturism is not about sex. Naturists are not asexual, but despite what people think, a gathering of naked people doesn’t make for a sexually charged environment.

You won't be embarrassed! Once in a naturist place, you soon get used to being surrounded by naked people and forget that you are not wearing clothes. It’s clothed people that stand out. What you look like is irrelevant. No-one stares at you, or judges your appearance – it’s all about feeling good for yourself. No-one is forced to be naked all the time and people will put something on if the weather turns.
