Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

Thanks for the response … I used to listen more too when I had a long commute
For me it was one way to forget work, so that the commute didn't feel like elongation of the work day.

But the type of podcast I listened to, were usually of informative nature. History, society, health, even linguistic (there's one damn funny language podcast around here, playing with language, also pointing out grammar mistakes and "phrase crimes" that have been made in public, and correcting them - the "criminal" is then given "sentence", usually something absurd connected to the phrase he broke, and it's totally hilarious - not intended to embarrass.)

I don't wanna. It's time to do evening routine, get myself ready for the morning and get to bed. Long weekend over.

It’s after 7am here
13hrs with our clocks havin changed by an hr a couple o weeks ago.

Even after all these years it still fascinates me that we can communicate instantly with people on the other side of the world where its a different day. Is witchcraft! We're all getting burned or drowned!

When i grew up as a wain there was only 3 teevee channels, mobile phones were science fiction, fruit and veg were seasonal and there seemed a lot more innocence, the latter part being total bollox. How fast technology has changed. My daughter is nearly 8, has access to hundreds of channels, has mobile devices, that she understands way more than me and I ain't no technophobe, that have touch screens and fit in your pocket and are thousands of times more powerful than the 1st computer I had (Spectrum 48k, 48 kilobytes ffs!). Its fascinating. As a long time geek and sci fi fan to see where its going and what she might have when she's my age..

Anyway I digress. Um. I'm lost now. And typing in English. Um. Tits?
