Quark doesn't look like much... Especially when you add ingredients that don't bring colour to it.

Here quark (500g), whipped cream (2dl before whipping), orange marmelade (100g, sweet not bitter), orange juice (1dl), raisins (1,5dl) and some ground hazelnuts.

Thank you. It does look a little like sour cream. The combination sounds delcious.

Tried a recipe for roe shoulder, too. 3h in the oven, it melted as soon as you touched it.

Plain quark looks a bit like greek yoghurt (which is also drained) - but it tastes different.

Yes. Can't remember the variety of them, but they are delicious.

I buy purple and other color potatos and carrots at Whole Foods and similar markets here. I believe there is a farmer in the county that also plants and harvests for sale heritage potatos etc.

This is why I wish they’d sell more egg varieties than just brown and white at the store, color can definitely enhance food.
