Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

Quark is an ingredient in itself. A sour dairy product, almost like cream cheese exept our version isn't fatty at all.

When making it into a dessert, I add whipped cream, and the rest depends on the occasion and what you like. With range marmelade and raisins I probably won't need any sugar. (I've lost the recipe, so I'm checking every Easter how it tastes!)
That sounds like an amazing dish. I forgot to mention another Armenian dish I expect the family will make is "noodle coogle" . Egg noodles in cottage cheese baked with mandarin orange marmalade.

It does require a whole milk tho right? Which is very difficult to aquire here in the US

Morning chaos!

There was a time when I was working on a farm and we didn't have as many horses, so I would get up early, do all my work, and be done by noon feeling like I still had the whole day. It was great!
I had the same schedule when I did school photos … up working at 6am… done by noon. Absolutely loved it. If I could have done that all year long, I would have.

It was so nice to just work and chill with them when it was quiet and nobody was around. Night checks are nice too though, listening to all of the horses happily munching on their hay is really calming.

I was scooping shit too, including occasionally out of their waters because ofc they would, lol! I remember one who was particularly notorious :ROFLMAO: We covered most of the trough except for room for their heads, and he still kept getting it in there!
Honest work, lol And so fun, running the manure spreader on the field.

I buy unflavoured quark and start from there - I don't even know how to make it from milk (i assume it's not too different from yoghurt, "viili" and cheese, but which of the those is the closest...).

It's 0,2% fat usually.

Its a cheese.. Made from milk straight from the cow by adding acid to seperate the whey. Then strained

When making cheese the milk is heated up, too. (I've made my own for Xmas several times). Not when making quark, it seems.

Good Morning @MaggieTheUnicorn
I love ❤ horses! When I was little, my uncle used to take me to see horses on a farm near his house in Vermont and we would feed them apples, they were very gentle. And we could brush them, they seemed to like that.
