Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

My dog just took her first poop since Saturday night!!! I can’t tell you how happy this makes me
It's very odd when you realize you obsess over your pet's (or child's) bowel movements. When I come back from walking the dog my wife always asks if he pooped...

But it does show that you love them

Except when it's on the carpet

When the pet (or child) has just had problems with that, it's not even obsession.

Tell me about concern over a pet and their bowels etc. My vintahe cockapoo has a delicate stomach and when we walk (or is a dawdle), I have to stop him from eating whatever he thinks is goo on the ground.

Commuting into DC. Catching the first train. After three years of being remote, this commute sucks even more than it used to. But it’s very rare at any rate.
When I first moved to D.C. a decade ago, I always hoped to find a job where I could take the Metro to work. I still have never found that. :p

Yeah, the storms look bad in the Midwest.
A tornado hit a small town about 120 miles southeast of me here in Missouri that killed four people. 😢

I had to drive Dad last night to an early medical appointment in Springfield, MO today. We saw some really amazing electric activity last night.
Years ago we were visiting friends in Chicago and took a day trip out to Rockford to see Cheap Trick (my wife's favorite band) in their home town. On the way back the sky was purple and the thunder and lightning rolling over that flat landscape was both awesome and terrifying.

Once upon a time, I was a slave for the Philosophy prof at Univ. of Wisconsin. One day he said I was to "escort the Communist around campus." Gosh, had never met one...........here comes Matt Savola, a pleasant 65 y o railroadworker, from Finland. Walked him all around, to the student union, where a handful of kids showed up to hear him speak. Very polite and soft spoken guy...not afraid of commies anymore!
Communists are like all other beings. They come in all shapes and sizes!
