Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

*closes her eyes and sighs deep*
Once upon a time, I was a slave for the Philosophy prof at Univ. of Wisconsin. One day he said I was to "escort the Communist around campus." Gosh, had never met one...........here comes Matt Savola, a pleasant 65 y o railroadworker, from Finland. Walked him all around, to the student union, where a handful of kids showed up to hear him speak. Very polite and soft spoken guy...not afraid of commies anymore!

Nowhere this is weird. I've been productive maybe 20% of the time, even less. Rest of the time either been idling, or trying to work (in principle) and not managing anything, and in any case being anxious as hell.

And now my boss says he's been pleased what I've got done, considering my lack of experience with this particular job 👀🤯

I don't know what to think of this.

True communists are actually rare here. Usually what Americans call communists, aren't.

But even those who are, aren't indeed frightening.
