Well you weren't born yesterday, no further hints needed to tell how fruits could be used in communicationWhen you said fruit, I was wondering if you were commeenting on some advice here about meeting women at a grocery store. My mind went to what a pick up line would be: "My you have big juicy mellons there? " or " How are your peaches?" And she might respond abbot the size of your cucumber.![]()
Wow I am so out of date. I think most of the women my age would not get those fruit references.Well you weren't born yesterday, no further hints needed to tell how fruits could be used in communication
It seems there are more complicated meanings. Like telling your relationship status or what you're after. In Snapchat cherries might mean "in serious relationship", in dating apps that you want that. One fruit for "friends with benefits", another "one-night-stand" and so-on.
I have to say I haven't used those!
I only knew by googling...Wow I am so out of date. I think most of the women my age would not get those fruit references.
I wasn't even aware of such song! (Not really listening to Elton John.)Good afternoon Strix. I know people here call you litle owl. Your comments about being a dancer made me thing of you when I hear "tiny dancer" in Elton John's song.
Yes you are a little owl then.I only knew by googling...

Little owl is very accurate. 1-2 months after choosing my user name I came across athene noctua being called little owl in English (in Finnish it's "Minerva Owl", Minerva and Athene being the same goddess), and realised that's a better species for me than Strix Aluco.
And I'm little, with double entendre!
The funny thing is, as a school kids we got English names when starting to learn English, to be used on the lessons. And I think I was called Minerva then...Yes you are a little owl then.

I just can't listen to one single Elton's song without hoping it would end sooner. I'm pretty diverse in what I listen to, but his style is just so what I don't like. Even now that I listened to that Tiny dancer, it made me bored and restless before halfway.Tiny dancer has always been one of my favorite songs. Saw Elton in concert a long time ago. Amazing show.
I've always been an owl. Usually unspecified, though. My username also comes from an animal. I was struggling to come up with a username that wasn’t obnoxious or stupid and used a favorite fish.
As you are wise as one.I've always been an owl. Usually unspecified, though.
