That's for damn sure.I travel a lot in my work and always carry as I am not going to allow a car jacker or other thug to hurt me. It is not an AR 15 but trust me the government will start there and then want my handgun. With police morale at an all time low and the constant badgering they get from the press and certain groups police departments are never going to be at full staffing levels ever again. I mean some folks in the "trans community" consider this person that killed three children and three wonderful adults a hero for their group. Don't you think that is sick? I do and so will carry and use my gun if I need to protect myself or others I love.
...or little of anything else from this administration.Yepper, illegal record keeping on gun owners. And yet people can't fathom why gun owners don't believe a fucking thing the government says about guns.
BDSThey don't realize that 26 states now have Constitutional carry. If blue states want to force this issue they will be starting a civil war. But it will have to wait until we finish with WWIII Biden is busy trying to start as we speak.
You have no point once you say something as dumb as, "y Not b@n C@R$?"My point about vehicles was that government licensing, registration, and regulation of their use do not stop an evil person from turning them into weapons. The same goes for firearms because it isn't the guns or the existence of guns that cause them to be used by criminals to hurt people, it's the person with evil intent that is the problem. This is proved by the fact that 99% of firearms or their owners in the US will never use their guns to commit a crime.
I believe there's a ground swell that is getting larger every day that would support banning AR-15s and other replicas. Does legislating laws banning ARs violate the 2nd A, an argument can be made that it doesn't. I think that if the stars were aligned, if enough citizens pushed their representatives hard enough a ban would happen. I believe we are at that point. I don't agree with it but the tea leaves seem to indicate a reality to the ban. It would be a feel good remedy but wouldn't change anything. They don't realize that 26 states now have Constitutional carry. If blue states want to force this issue they will be starting a civil war. Rifle rounds have higher velocities than pistol rounds and pistol rounds fired from a rifle chambered on those calibers have higher velocities when fired from the longer barrels of rifles. So I suppose you want to put a speed limit on bullets now, right? Just for information purposes, Springfield XDm Elite 9mm pistol has a magazine capacity of 20+1 or 22+1 depending on the model. AR15s are not used "so often." In the case of the Nashville shooter two semi-automatic rifles manufactured by KelTec and Lead Star Arms and a 9mm pistol manufactured by Smith & Wesson were used. And yet the AR15 bullet is travelling at a faster rate. The number of bullets indicate the AR-15 was used. Add in the likely fact that this person was not a gun expert.
If handguns are the same, then why do people choose AR15s so often?
The federal government is sooo big I don't believe we could stop them from doing whatever they want. Nothing ever happens to hold the feds accountable. DOJ, IRS and the FBI are so corrupt nothing phases them.Speaking of a "federal register" according to congressional testimony the other day the ATF admitted they were forced to destroy some 252 million firearm ownership records they have collected surreptitiously and illegally over the years. They did this as a backdoor option for a federal firearms registry which is forbidden by law for them to compile.

I want to make it incredibly hard for people who want to do harm to get a gun that harms people better than others. Protecting yourself and your family doesn't require an AR-15. It doesn't take ammo that goes through bullet proof vests.Rifle rounds have higher velocities than pistol rounds and pistol rounds fired from a rifle chambered on those calibers have higher velocities when fired from the longer barrels of rifles. Heller declares that banning of rifles in common use is unconstitutional. There are millions of AR15s in private hands all over the nation. Any attempt to ban these weapons would be unconstitutional under Heller, let alone Bruen, and would lead to years of federal lawsuits against those governments attempting to do so. I posted this cites 5 years ago:I believe there's a ground swell that is getting larger every day that would support banning AR-15s and other replicas. So the whole idea of guns to protect against tyranny is pointless. Is that what you mean? The federal government is sooo big I don't believe we could stop them from doing whatever they want. Nothing ever happens to hold the feds accountable. DOJ, IRS and the FBI are so corrupt nothing phases them.
Anyone who keeps loaded weapons in their car for fear of hijackers must live in a total craphole. That's for damn sure.
In this case they were apparently stopped. I'm with you though, only an informed public and active participation of the common citizen in the affairs of government and forcefully withholding their consent to nefarious action is our only hope. The federal government is sooo big I don't believe we could stop them from doing whatever they want. What happens if the court changes to left leaning.Heller declares that banning of rifles in common use is unconstitutional. There are millions of AR15s in private hands all over the nation. "Where rights secured by the Constitution are involved, there can be no rule making or legislation which would abrogate them."

"An unconstitutional act is not law; it confers no right; it imposes no duties; affords no protection; it creates no office; it is in legal contemplation, as inoperative as though it had never been passed."
Norton vs Shelby County118 US 425 p.442
"The general rule is that an unconstitutional statute, though having the form and the name of law, is in reality no law, but is wholly void, and ineffective for any purpose; since unconstitutionality dates from the time of its enactment, and not merely from the date of the decision so branding it. No one is bound to obey an unconstitutional law and no courts are bound to enforce it."

I live in an outdoor paradise and a whole bunch of people around here are carrying firearms in their cars to keep it that way.Anyone who keeps loaded weapons in their car for fear of hijackers must live in a total craphole.
Is it Yemen or Afghan? If it's a Western country try voting in some decent politicians who can get rid of the guns on the street.

I'm not saying it can't change but that is why we have to be vigilant. If we throw up our hands and turn away from our responsibility as free people. The left will be more than happy to take the United States of America as founded and help the CCP turn it into a totalitarian Chinese satellite state. It will be another 5000 years before anything comparable will be attempted. The kind of freedom we have enjoyed here is but a tiny spark of light in the long dark chronology of human events. I believe it's still worth fighting for. What happens if the court changes to left leaning.
Remember it was SCOTUS that interpreted abortion a right.
California, the State you left, has a lower gun death rate than Idaho by about half.I live in an outdoor paradise and a whole bunch of people around here are carrying firearms in their cars to keep it that way.

Idaho also has one of the highest percentages of gun ownership to population, 56.9%, in the country. It also has one of the lowest gun murder rates as well, 24 in 2015.
Military always travels with unloaded weapons. For the most part weapons are transported in a locked rack in the back of a secured van tracked by satellite. On post during a march weapons off range are unloaded unless providing security and a loaded weapon is required. if you have a firearm in your car you have to protect that firearm otherwise leave it home.Where I live I see the military travelling around with unloaded weapons.
Suckers, Losers and Fools. Obviously.
Progress. What happens if the court changes to left leaning.
You're an idiot.
What does hunting have to do with owning firearms? I love to punch holes in targets. Its actually quite relaxing. You have no point once you say something as dumb as, "y Not b@n C@R$?"
It was already explained to you that cars are meant to transport people and guns are meant to kill them.
BTW, when was the last time you went hunting?
