You know that may not be possible. I think your advice is to just jump in? Chaos is like a wild river, float down it like you are in an inner tube enjoying the ride and hope there are no waterfalls.

Of course I know I give the advice of just jumping in to many newcomers. Edit. But I could have. It was just about 10 pages, nothing I haven't done before. I have at times caught up even over 20 pages. Depends on my mood, too.

Finally got to a beach town and palm trees. Doggo is better, but am on high alert to any worrisome changes

I am in a surpringly good mood today as I wait for plows and snow crews to free me. The snow is beautiful and melting too. I have made a coffee cake with some apples I needed to use up. My recipe this time and if it comes out OK I will share.

How the fuck did I get so old?
Passing through my old hometown I stopped for breakfast and was walking down the street when an ‘older’ lady caught eyes with me. I gave a smile and was passing by when she said, “Alex! Aren’t you going to say hi?”

FFS! It was one of my high school gf’s besties!

We sat and talked for a minute and I couldn’t help thinking ‘are we really the same age?’

I guess my plans of never growing up are working!
