Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

I'd need a nap, but I can't calm down enough. Guess I'd need something to eat too, but I've lost appetite totally.
 
I have been up since 5 am and finally I feel better and less sinus pain. Also 3 cups of coffee hekped.

I did a work out with weights. Doing some laundry. And finished watching a Youtube about over 50 people having friends with benefits relationship, pros and cons. Have any of you had such a relationship? Care to share pros and cons? Sorry if this topic is too much for folks on a Monday morning. Also, I have wondered about it with 2 women that I know. I have not approached them.

I have. It was a casual agreement with an ex, that if both are unattached, there's no reason to resort to one-night-stands to get sex. Between me and him sex always worked, even when we had already agreed to go separate ways.

It was absolutely better than any casual sex-only things I've ever had (those are definitely not for me). Knowing each other already, trusting each other. Also as we had already tried having a full relationship and it didn't work, there was no tension in that sense.

It only lasted for a short while. There was maybe 2 months period neither of us was dating. When I became widow, we didn't see even once before I was dating again, but I think he wouldn't have taken up on the old agreement anyway, as he's picky about weight and I'm not the size I used to be.

Thank you for sharing. Did you discuss boundaries and expectations first? How did the topic come up? I have never had one and its tempting especially as life is so unpredictable.

I think I was the one bringing it up - I knew one of my friends had had a similar one, with an ex. And I think I worded it a bit similar like above, "no need for random one-night-stands". Which kind of set the boundary to being with - nothing more than occasional sex. Sex between me and him always worked, and both also had experiences about it not working with everyone.

It was public knowledge we were (and still are) friends even after breakup, and that's all that ever showed up publicly.

I think that will have to wait until tomorrow. Even if they have found the laptop, I won't hear about it before tomorrow.

Sorry now I'm just stuck in this feeling. Frozen, not really able to do anything else either.
