I agree when it’s an end of life decision. Otherwise it’s still a case of what’s best for the patient whether they’re rational or not.
Where would you draw the line, what is end of life decision?

I estimated that without any cancer treatments my husband would have probably died 6-9 months earlier, not more. His best option would have been to refuse cytostates, accepting only hormone trestments - which were the only ones that worked, without too nasty side effects. And that decision would have been made a year before he actually died, though it was clear he could not be cured. For some even the hormone treatment of prostate cancer would mean life not worth living, because for it was effectively chemical castration - and for some it's about dying soon, our living over 10 years. (Prostate cancer lives out of testosterone.)

There are situations where you can be saved, but end up seriously debilitated. For some it's worse than dying. Some rather die than compromise certain religious principals. I can't say I understand that, but I defend their right to choose as long as they don't impose it on children. (Here kids in that situation may be take into custody temporarily, until they are treated.)

I know many deafs don't want their hearing to be restored. Autism is classified as a disorder, but if it could be cured, I wouldn't take the pill - I prefer myself like this. Why should anyone be forced to accept such treatments?

Morning/ evening @Strixaluco !
Hi Shady. I'm trying to figure out in which order to do things this morning. Perhaps after morning meds clean my car out of snow (may be quite a project), and only then wash my hair and put on nice clothes for a Sunday lunch with family...

I shouldn't be here much before I go 🤦🏻‍♀️

Lol sounds like you have it all organised! Hope you have a wonderful time!
Getting it done is another thing. I'd rather take the bus, but I've agreed to buy a used monitor on my way home - and I also have a parcel from Ikea waiting to be fetched... Those two just need a car.

Oh well. Sitting in a bus now, I'll get a ride home - with the monitor. Got to handle the parcel tomorrow with bus - it's unpractical, but no impossible.

oh no...my dr will NOT be happy...have to monitor my blood pressure at the moment...
Sorry about that. Maybe some decafe? Are you using a new BP monitor? I have one that has slowly over 3 years reading high and out of calibration. I plan to go and buy a new one.

I love the rear wheel drive Rivs… and boat tails are pretty nice drivers. 😊😊😊
And it is because of this ^^^ that a WTF emoji needs to be included. Or a I don’t know what the *#@ you are talking about emoji. I have told you before and demonstrated that I have vast automobile knowledge but this is twatwaffle 😂😂😂
That you have big feet and hands.
I looked at her puzzled. She’s got to know the sayings. Finally I asked her
You know what that means?
I proceeded to tell her.
Big feet, big hands… big
Big gloves and big shoes 👍
