Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

Fridays are generally really good days for me.
I do have one difficult meeting today, but the rest of the day is generally "good fun."
And it almost always ends with beers across the street with some cool coworkers.
I’ve just finished a VC so that’s my day done unless work decides it’s not 😃

There is a thread here about what work doesn’t know about you and a guy on there said he does VCs naked from the waste down 😬😬 So when the VC starts I now want to ask all the guys to stand before we begin but don’t, because that will probably not go over to well 😂😂 I know most of them and wouldn’t think they would but then you never know.

Btw, just to avoid confusion I am in the camp that would be unhappy with this behavior 😃😃😃

We have a coffee meeting in my team on Friday afternoon. Might talk work - might talk just about what people plan for the weekend. Also the Monday morning team meeting starts unofficially.

Now I wanna know what a VC is. And why doing them partially naked would make you unhappy. Have you tried it? Maybe you're missing out! :D (I'm totally joking...well sort of....now I'm picturing things...never mind....how did we get here?????)

I looked that up and found this:
It is a name that can be deeply offensive and hurtful to the Vietnamese American community.

Oops 😬
That makes sense to me - accusing an American of being viet cong would be pretty offensive. Not dissimilar to calling someone a Nazi.

I would quibble with that Bren. The Nazis were undeniably bad guys. The Cong (that slur again) certainly committed atrocities but the movement as a whole was one of independence and were, to many Vietnamese, patriots.
