So your situation is a bit like my French. Though I was there a whole year, and had studied the language for a few years before.

I never studied Swedish at the university , I just took a couple of classes while I was there.
I’ll start learning French next year. It will be a big challenge after 40.

Yes, it was an Erasmus exchange. Not much more for university students within Europe these days, I think. I've lost contact with all the people I knew there... Well, one other exchange student I have among Fb friends.
A new language to study? That should keep your brain young. I'd be interested in learning a few more languages, but don't have the energy for new hobbies. Learning everything I need for my job is already a challenge. Actually learning a couple of languages like DAX, SQL etc would help me a lot.

I am trying to complete this Google Data Analyst course - intro to sql is integrated with the course. The basics seem to be ok
We still have FB group with the lads and try to visit each other. I attended the marriage ceremony of one a few years ago but couldn’t travel after that. Still, I know I can count on a few people in a few cities around Europe

I've done a few courses about Power BI, but not DAX yet. Haven't had time to see yet if there are SQL courses available a work too.
That sounds nice. I do have a few people who around the Europe as well, but for other reasons. Some are family friends, a couple of class mates have moved abroad etc.

The problem is, it's too easy to wreck my good plans for going to bed early enough. Like just having to fight with the lack of initiative too get off the sofa.
