Yeah…almost 9 inches forecast for tomorrow afternoon through the night of heavy snow and freezing sleet/rain.
I’ll be sure to keep the fire banked for tomorrow getting home. Oy.

Is that the GMC Suburban? I don’t remember what they renamed it… Yukon XL? So are you saying you have 2 GMCs?

My sole complaint about them is On Star. I would not buy one because of that… too creepy to me.

I don’t know anything about those, except a tv news thing I saw saying that VW put a speaker under the hood to make it sound different. A friend had one at the time, so we checked and there really was one. He was quite upset about that.

I'm not a car guy. It's ten years old with 135K miles and no major problems so far (crosses fingers).

Yup its the Yukon now, and On Star is least of your worries. They now have both Apple and Google built in lol

That used to be around here, but for good reason. Where I live if there was snow it was usually proceeded by freezing rain leaving a sheet of ice under it. Course now barely see snow here anymore at all.

We used to get more snow than ice. The forecast is 0.2-0.5 inches. At those amounts power lines and tree limbs come down. Side street become impassable. And I would not like the 9 inches or the blizzard forecaste at other parts of the country.

Yes. Yukon XL is correct.

I do. Big boy is a 2018 with a LOT less miles so I keep him in reserve most of the time

It seems almost impossible that New England has no snow yet! I would prefer snow or rain but the ice is something I can not drive in and the damage to the trees is horrible.
