Mine got to the point of being distinguished (code for old). It was 2018, so I shaved it for the Red Sox playoff run (grew it in 2013 for same reason). They won the world Series, so I'm going with that (and not wanting to look so old since my hair is still jet black).

It’s hard when the color doesn’t change all at once. My mustache stayed dark s lot longer than my beard, giving me a weird reverse John Bolton look.
