Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

Ok Chaos-I need a tutor. It doesn’t have to be a private one lol
I’m trying to figure out how to interact in chat or on the boards in the the most effective and clear ways.
The main question I have is how do you indicate an action, emotion or something aside from conversation?
I feel like I’ve seen italics or a star but is there a right way or a preferred way?
Like right now, I could insert something to indicate that I am a little nervous/uncomfortable posing this question but I don’t know how to do that lol
Any suggestions/advice/direction to a thread that explains it would be great.
Lit is my first foray into non social media online interactions and I feel like I now have my footing enough to want to make sure I’m communicating clearly 😂

Thanks💋

There is no right or wrong way, just whatever feels comfortable to you. My personal preference is usually the * option since less used for anything else. *gives you a big hug* 🤗🥰

Briefly.....

I use italics for stuff I am thinking or mild emphasis......

Bold for strong emphasis

I use the * for an action.....as in *my hand starts stroking....

# is good for emphasis....as in.....#relate

Small script for Whispers

And sometimes, #rare, morse code to see if someone is paying attention or I am playing with them, ...usually I make it white in script

-.-- --- ..- / .- .-. . / ... --- / -.-. ..- - .

Thanks MrT.
I appreciate your response. It makes sense💕
White script morse code? I can’t even figure out how to make the text smaller hahah

And to clarify, as it seems I’m not the only one wondering, this works in chat and in posts on threads, right?

In the box where you type your message there are a series of drop down menus look like this...Screenshot_20230209_121959_Chrome.jpg
The Ts are for text size the pallet icon is color.

Also his morse code says "you are so cute"... and he's right you are, especially that smile 😉
