Now that makes me feel old. Just like when my Dad called me last night to tell me that so and so died and I might know him because we're the same age. This guy was 41, and I'm 38! Both my parents thought I was in my 40s

I think it's a mindset. I found that I felt more comfortable with older women when dating, even if it was just a couple few years older.

Many of the younger women I encountered while dating seemed so insecure about what they wanted in a partner, or maybe, I was just not what they were looking for. I was a fairly intense person at the time, necessarily because of the physical nature of the work I did, and how desperately financially poor I was.

Personally, I have always been drawn to older people, as I get older, so do the people I am drawn to.
