I am thinking drill through, run the electrical, coat in resin to stop from decomposing, then base out of anything, but I'd probably do wood, then mount bulb fixture and shade. What is the appropriate shade for a cucumber lamp?

(and for those who remember and are wonder, the "godzilla" dildo, still just a dildo in my closet, not a lamp)
